Damn It!

I can't for the life of me remember if I conditioned my hair and if I did actually condition my hair, did I rinse it out? 

Anywho-how.  How are you? 

I did no knitting last night.  None, zip, nada.  Far too tired.  What the hell!?!?

Where in the world has pammykins been this past month? 
Loudin for a motorcycle race, a couple of LAN parties - where I sit, knit and socialize, finishing BSG - so sad.  oh, ya, i turned 35, only 1 year left before I move out of the 25-35 box range :(  

Mostly, I've just been lazy about posting, and I apologize for that.
And although I may have been lazy, I have also been knitting.

I have proof and everything. 

These are the 2 blanket squares that I knit up for a fellow Raveler, who recently lost her husband.   A whole bunch of us knit up 2 squares each to make a big ol blanket of love.  (blocking and I are not BFF's)

I am still chugging away on the stroller/car seat blanket and the big squish is coming along loverly as well, 3 pattern repeats left before I move onto the border.  :D

I totally stole this from Violet of the Quiet Life of Violet.  I want to be her neighbor, i would totally learn how to french braid hair.   Seriously, I find her inspiring. 

I'm going to live by that.  I will be peaceful, try to heal myself of the past year, stop being negative, good things come to those who wait right?,  be good to myself, bc if I'm not good to myself, who will be? 

I need to stop trying to control my life and give God the reigns and a chance. 

I need to realize that I am good enough, deserve to be happy and loved and that someday, I will have the family that I want and most importantly that I am perfect just the way I am.  Because as Baltar states in BSG " "God only loves that which is perfect, and he loves you, because you are perfect"

I am on a major Sinatra high right now.   These foolish things is playing, not so softly in the background, it's June, it's 80 out and we're wearing sunglasses, hit it.

oh ya!  watched The Walking Dead.  SO GOOD!  Can not wait till it starts up again in October. 

My little bambino stroller blanket is coming along swimmingly, as are my picot socks.  At night I am going to alternate between Doug's socks and the Big Squish blanket, once my second square is done for a lovely Rav girl who recently lost her husband.  (i'll post pictures of the squares)

On a random note....I need to dye my hair, what color...auburn or a lovely brown?  decisions decisions. 

I had a point to this blog post and I've lost it.

Avacados dipped in bbq sauce....SO good

so ya...

Picot edge socks are still socks.  I was 4 or so rows from the starting the toe decrease and not just finishing the heel as I had orginally thought.  So, I said screw it and opted to continue on to the toe.  I tried it on and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was.  Apparently I cannot trust my memory. 

Started a baby blanket, on the idea of the log cabin only different.  I have 2 squares done, I'll post em on Friday.  I may have 3 by then!!
