Angry Kitten Attack!!!

That's me, an angry kitten! You know what I did? Do ya? Wanna take a guess? Come on, you know you do, all the cool kids are doing it!! Stumped?!?

Ok, well then, I'll tell ya. I effed up on my Stornaway sock. Oh ya! I have the pattern going up the same side. Basically, I made 2 left feet. Top that off with the fact that I started the stupid sock with the toe in the middle.

What? Don't believe me?
<------   see.

Can we say 'take 3'? I can. Third times a charm right? GRRRRR! SO MAD! Although, upon looking at it, it may not be as bad as I think, it looks like I had it going the right way, but somehow effed up on the heel portion which in turn screwed up the rest of the sock. That makes me feel a little bit better, not by much though, I'm still an idiot.

Breakfast as of late has been nummy in my tummy smoothies. So good!!! I am also, on the fold over portion of my puck's picot socks. Yay. I didn't get as far as I would have liked on them, but thems the breaks ya dig homeslice? what's wrong with this picture? that best be the last time ya'll doubt me is all I'm saying! ok, I have this all nice and pretty and spaced nicely. Then I hit publish. And everything smooshes together, makes me mad.

Puck's Picot

So, I finally cast on for my picot edge socks using my socks that rock Pucks Mischief, recipe courtesy of Carole at Carole Knits. I hink I'm going to do an eye of partridge heel, because well, I like them. Still working on the baby blanket...ok, not really...I've worked on exactly 2 rows past the border. I have no idea what else to say. Life has been good. I'm still chugging away on my little hearts, in fact I am knitting a purple one at the moment. I am debating if I want to felt them or not. The drama llama's were running rampant at work last week. Keep in mind, I'm from the 'ville, I'm nosey, I like to know what's going on, but to be honest, as much as I like it, I hate it, it's like H.S. all over again. Hopefully, the llama's will stay in the zoo where they belong. Also, if you're a fan of cooking and have the cooking channel, watch Extra Virgin. It's awesome!

Learn Something New

I learned recently that Istanbul (Not Constantinople) was orginally by the 4 lads and not they might be giants as I had orginally thought.

I finished up my pink cotton candy peace fleece yarn and have moved on to little purple hearts. Man is that yarn soft! I love it!! I may have to make a sweater from it.

Although lately I've been wanted to make a pair of plain, picot edged socks for myself. I may have to cast on for that tonight.

Orange tic tacs. I had a dream about them. Really big ones too. I wonder what that means? Do I want to know?

In other news, I have a cold. Poor me. :(
