First off, I am cold.

Having said that, I was trolling around Ravelry and came across this!  Super cute right?!?!  As soon as I finish my little pooh bear's blanket & hat, I am totally casting on for this.  ok! ok! I may cast on sooner than that!! I may try to modify the cuffs a bit to add thumb holes.  I love thumb holes.  OMG! Who knew a sweater could cause such excitement?!?  I probably need to get out more.  I think I'm going to steal a fellow Raveler's idea and get a grey-ish colored eco yarn, so it'll look like it's been played in, although I may go with the brown.  Who knows!!  I haven't been this excited to knit something in a while, sad little pamda bear.   I may or may not knit the crown, I haven't decided that yet, ya, you're right, who am I trying to kid, of course I'm gonna knit the crown!    All this excitement has made very tired.

So much Muppet love.

So, I've been sitting here at work listening to 'Muppets The Green Album' for about a week now, quite happily, with a HUGE smile on my face (my eyes may or may not get a little damp during Rainbow Connection & Our World from Emmet Otters Jug Band Christmas).

I was on such a Muppet kick I searched and found on youtube a version of Bein' Green sung by none other than FRANK SINATRA!!  Holy cow was I excited, I downloaded it to me little ipod and everything.

I forgot how much I use to like the Muppets.

There was some knitting too!!  A couple of hearts last night whilst watching the second half of Hell's Kitchen and I a winter hat for my little pooh bear.

40th Birthday Socks fit the recipient beautifully and were met with much love and thanks, which is what every knitter wants when presenting hand knits.

To my nephew

Dear sweet little Pooh Bear,

In 2 months I get to meet you and I can't wait.  It is impossible to express just how much I love you.  I can't wait to snorgle your tummy, eat your tiny little toes and nibble your little fingers.

I know you won't stay this little for long, I'm not gonna rush it.  I am going to do all I can to be there as much as possible to watch you grow into a lil whirling dervish of a toddler, loopy little kid, surly teenager and handsome young man.

I can only hope to be half the aunt to you that my great aunt was to me.

xoxo

91

To make up for slacking on knitting the hearts, I knit some.  In fact for one weekend that's all I knit!  Then the counting began, in total I have 91 hearts.  Hot damn that's alot.  It has been decided that the hearts are going to be primarly Noro hearts.  I like how they knit up, the subtile color change from the solid color, so pretty.

I started an owly blanket for my soon to be born nephew (less than 2 months!!!!).  Fingers crossed I can finish it in time for the baby shower on Sunday, did I mention that I just started it yesterday?  Ya.  Luckily it's going to be small, the perfect size for my little pooh bear.  :)

I know what you're thinking, 'Hey pam, what about the 40th bday socks?'
You want to know about the socks?
Well, I'll tell ya about the socks....I am at the toe.

Hol-la!

Bing

And I ain't talking about Chandler.

I may or may not have a tiny girl crush on Joy the Baker and Abra Moore.  I totally want to invite them over for a sleep-over and french braid their hair.  I'd have to learn how to french braid hair first though.  Totally do-able!

Also, I loves me some Bob Goulet.  Oh ya, we're so tight I call him Bob.

I've been slacking on my hearts.  I don't think I'll be able to knit 1,000 of them this year and I'm ok with that.  I knit them when I need to get out of my dark place, when I need to reflect & meditate, when i need a little peace.  It works, I'm happy.
