The Baby Sweater

The Green Blob (sorry about the sideways view)

Pretty Side Seam.  Nice Right?

One Big Hot Mess; aka The Sleeve Seam
I don't know what happened between the side seam and the sleeve,  I think it's because, well, I just don't know.  However I do know of a place where they would know, aka my LYS, and I will be going there today so that my little pooh bear can have his sweater!!

the specs:
Yarn: DiC Smooshy; Good Luck Jade
Needle: Size 8
Pattern: Baby Ribbed Jacket
Going to sew in a snap button and then sew on a dummy button.

All in all,, it was a lovely knit and super quick & easy.

52 Dollars; 52 Weeks

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and that Santa was good to them!
Christmas was a success! However, my little pooh bears sweater is still blocking and I have to figure out the button situation as well as re-seeming the sleeves. I'll post a picture of it tomorrow.

Now that Christmas is over....it's time to start thinking 'Resolutions'!
I've been thinking about them, off and on for the past couple of weeks, and aside from the standards*, I have a new one, to play the lottery.  Now hear me out, yes I know, a fool and his money soon part, but, my plan, to play one, one dollar quick pic a week, probably Wednesday.  You know what they say, you can't win if you don't play.  If I happen to win, I'll save the funds, fun and practical all wrapped up with a little bow.

*lose weight, save more, exercise...

Christmas is Coming...

the goose is getting fat, please to put a penny in the old mans hat.

Now, in my head Miss Piggy is singing that, because that is the only version I know.  This doesn't bother me.

We need to talk.  Seriously.  The Muppet Movie.  SO!GOOD!  Just go.

I hate being done with my Christmas shopping early, because then it leaves lots of time to start doubting what you got...is it enough?...will they like it...?....why do i even bother?

Oh well.  Maybe I just need to watch Miracle on 34th Street (the orginal thankyouverymuch) and It's a Wonderful Life, you know to get some much needed perspective.

Hopefully by Saturday, I will have a picture of my little pooh bears Christmas sweater.
